The Kitchen Education Trust (TKET) is a registered charity that provides a link between the kitchen industry and education.
TKET acts as an intermediary for the kitchen sector in the award of scholarships to successful applicants to attend the Foundation Degree in Kitchen Design at Buckinghamshire New University.
We are actively involved in establishing a route for the future through apprenticeships into the Kitchen Industry.
TKET provides the kitchen industry with a formal platform to assist with the Foundation Degree in Kitchen Design at Buckinghamshire New University, helping to shape the course content via the University’s Industry Advisory Panel.
TKET helps industry to award scholarships to students to attend the Foundation Degree in Kitchen Design at Buckinghamshire New University. All students selected for admission to the course are eligible for consideration, details of these scholarships vary according to the individual sponsor.
Students should normally have 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above or an appropriate level three qualification. However relevant work experience from a related industry sector, an aptitude for design and a willingness to commit to the level of personal study required, will be given equal consideration.
